

grandfather, William "Bill" C. Miller,
75, of Las Vegas, passed away
peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2016,
at his home with his family by his
side. He was born Sep. 27, 1940, in
Abingdon, Virginia to Clifford and
Sarah Miller. Bill served in U.S Air
Force 1959-1963. While stationed
at Nellis Air Force Base, he met, fell
in love and married his wife,
Barbara, of 53 yrs. Bill worked for
City of LV as Traffic Signal Engineer
for 30 yrs until retiring at age 52.
He built their home in TN, raised
cattle and grew hay, with his
passion driving a tractor, from 1999-
2004, returning to Las Vegas. He and
his son, Billy, owned Domestic
Landscape, a Father and Son Team
business, with his love to be on a
tractor again. Bill loved ATV riding;
and was an avid NASCAR fan. He
loved taking cruises with his wife
and family; and driving cross country
on Route 66. Bill was preceded in
death by his parents. He is survived
by and will be dearly missed by his
wife, Barbara; two children, Billy
(Misti) Miller and Beverly (Wilson)
Martinez; three grandchildren,
Billy Jr. (Alexis), Katelyn and Madison;
sister, Betty (Glen) Robinette; brothers,
Hunter (Mary) Miller and Donald
(Brenda) Miller. Memorial Service will be
Wed, 8/3 at 4pm, at Palm Northwest, 6701
N. Jones, 89131. In lieu of flowers,
donations can be made to the American
Red Cross.
