Alamar Elias Gomez

Alamar Elias Gomez, age 25, of Snellville, G.A., passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in his sleep. Alamar Elias Gomez was born on October 1st, 1998, to the parents of Elias Mejia Gomez and Angela McFadden-Gomez.

Alamar attended Lilburn Elementary, Lilburn Middle, and Meadowcreek High School cluster. He was a handsome, talented, and intelligent young man participating in band, soccer, and wrestling, winning top prizes and championships. He enjoyed being a member of the “Future Scientists and Engineers for Georgia Tech when he was in the 8th grade. After graduating high school, Alamar pursued a degree in Diesel Engineering at Atlanta Technical College before leaving in pursuit of a different career path.

Alamar leaves behind loved ones who will forever cherish his gentle soul, as he was such a calm, well-mannered and respectful guy. Truly a lovable person.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents Elias Mejia Gomez and Angela McFadden-Gomez, his brothers Sergio, Kelvin, and Joel Gomez, Grandmother Betty Jackson, Grandfather Jimmie McFadden, special cousins Destiny McFadden-Ani, Luisito Mejia, Sara, and Maria Jaramillo, Josue Mejia Santos, Kelvin Gamez Mejia, Junior Gamez;his uncles Ricky McFadden, Russell McFadden and Kevin McFadden; his uncles in Honduras Luis Mejia, Pablo Mejia Gomez, Marcelino Mejia, Raul Mejia; Aunt Imelda Mejia: aunts in Honduras, Caridad Mejia, Bersabe Mejia, Elizabeth Mejia and Maria Gamez, Israel Mejia and Emma Mejia and all the Aunts in Honduras not mentioned by name; His close buddies are all the guys on the pic at Carlos’s wedding which includes Carlos, Danny I, Danny II, Brandon, Daniel, Frankie, “Pakistan” (nicknamed by Alamar’s Mom) Dean Nassir, Gustavo, and last but not least, his very best friend Deicy Diaz who has been with Alamar every step of the way. Alamar also leaves behind a host of good friends, brothers and sisters in Christ at the Iglesia Pentecostal Tabernaculo De Fuego, to include Pastors Isidro and Carmen Medrano and family, all the members of the church, Deacons, and Deacon Mario Melendez.
