Albert Stallings

June 18, 1973 - February 28, 2022

Albert Lawrence “Larry” Stallings III formerly of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully in Atlanta, GA surrounded by his family on February 28, 2022 after a five-year courageous battle with kidney disease. He was 48 years old. Larry was born in Fayetteville, NC and is predeceased by his father, Albert Lawrence Stallings Jr, and his paternal and maternal grandparents; Larry is survived by his mother, Lucy Biddle Stallings of Atlanta, GA; his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Al Parker of Atlanta, GA; and nephews and niece; Middleton, George, Charlie, Stallings and Lucy; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Larry was raised in Columbia, SC. He attended Spring Valley High School and then went on to get his BA from his beloved Clemson University. He received a Masters in English at Wake Forest University. In his healthy years, Larry was an avid reader, fisherman and history buff with a profound love of the outdoors. He enjoyed being on the water and truly appreciated all of the beauty that nature had to offer.

Larry was so grateful to all the friends and family that stayed in touch while he was sick.
