Ruth D. Boozer, was born on May 31, 1934, and went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2016, at age 81, due to natural causes. She was a very kind and generous woman who touched many people’s lives. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Roy A. Boozer; her children Christine Roca and her husband, Luis Roca; Teresa Boozer; Mark Boozer; Cheryl Boozer; Steve Boozer; and nephew Michael Random and his wife, Beth Random. She had 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and soon to be great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 25, 2016, with service to follow at 2:00. Service and burial will be at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services (formerly R.T. Patterson Funeral Home) at 500 Harbins Road, Lilburn, GA 30047 (770-923-2940).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or March of Dimes.
