Deepest Sympathy to the Family.  Ruth was a dear friend, my traveling buddy.  As we traveled the highway, she would share so many pearls of wisdom.  One of my favorites ended with "every goodbye ain't gone".  Ruth will forever be in my heart - never gone.  

May Our Heavenly Father be with this family as  she will surely be missed by the St. Anthony Church Family.

Met Ruth while working with EPA's Office of Civil Rights  in the 1990's when she was a contractor for our office.  Also, spent Easter at her home one year.

Ruth was a very outgoing person.  Always enjoyed talking to her.  Know she will be missed by many.

The community of Saint Anthony of Padua will miss our beloved Ruth. She was an active member of our Health Ministry and the KeenAgers and never missed Mass while she was able.  Rest peacefully dear Ruth your work here is done.

My condolences to the Smith Family. To “Ruthie” my friend, advisor, partner in changing the world & forever my second mother. I know you are flying on Ángels’ wings to Heaven. There has never been or will be a greater friend to me. No matter where I was or where Ruthie (I’m the only person who could call her that. 😀) up until the last few years she made me a sweet potato pie on Thanksgiving. Ruthie has gone physically to a better place but she is not dead, she lives forever in the soul of those who love her. May your memories help you deal with our loss.

I remember all of the stories Auntie Ruth would tell us about their social clubs and all the good times they all had growing up. My favorite stories were about how Ruth and my mother met their husbands Donald and Ronald. 
She was the best story teller with all of the pictures to bring it all to life for us. 
You will be missed dearly Auntie Ruth but we are happy to know that you are resting in peace.

On the internet waiting for her weekly bowling buddy to grab her bowling shoes! Always a good friend who really is best described by all as “sassy,”smart, devoted, strong-willed, fun-loving and a class-act and, fondly known as “Aunt Ruth” to the Smith family siblings and so many others. 

Classy, sassy, and vibrant  are but a few words that can describe Aunt Ruth.  Aunt Ruth is everyone's favorite aunt. Although  I am not biologically related, that does not change how much I  loved her.  The running joke that not only she and I  shared, but a great many of you as well, was "Who are you going to sue now?" RIP Aunt Ruth. WE speak your name. 

Everyone always looked forward to seeing these babies dressed up for every occasion on your balcony…

I will miss my dear “Mommie Ruth “ so much. I enjoyed visiting her and talking with her through the years.  Rest peacefully dear your work here is done.
