Suzanne Robinson Smith

Emmitt and Mary (now deceased) had three children: Eileen who married Joe and had 2 sons: Erik who married Stephanie and had Cora. And son Patrick who died early. Suzanne (we will check her later) and John who married Krissie and had Wilson and Ansley both unmarried.

Thor and Lightnin (now deceased) had three sons: Bryan (check later) Dirt (recently deceased) married Annie and they had twins Liz unmarried and Nick who married Jessie and have Lilly, Noah and Ellie.

Now to the featured. Suzanne married Bryan 48 years ago and they have 2 sons: Damon married Selena and they have Aurora. Justin is unmarried.

Suzanne worked for Pike Nurseries when the kids were young before becoming Bryan's business partner in the irrigation field. She developed a love of plants and yard work including design of the property. Her contribution to the business included scheduling clients and coordinating correspondence and anything financial. She and Bryan have, over the years, remodeled the house including all but exterior walls. Her speciality was tiling bathrooms and cork floor in the basement. Laughter was considered essential in all undertakings and was reflective in speaking with clients where we would find Suzanne giggling on the phone almost daily.

Now the sad part: Approximately ten years ago Suzanne contracted breast cancer and received double mastectomy as treatment. Several years later cancer progressed to her bones. After surgery she was treated with infusions to strengthen her bones and medication to fight the cancer. The treatments lasted 5 years until the cancer destroyed her liver.

Along with countless cousins and friends we all miss her love and laughter.
