After graduating from Trenton Catholic and Duquesne University, Tony entered the US Air Force and studied languages at Indiana University and went to Germany where he fondly related to his “gumshoe” work for the Air Force during the Korean War. Returning home from his service, he worked for John A. Roebling in Roebling and Trenton. In 1974, he moved the family to Greenville, MS to work for Cooper Steel and spent many years there before returning to NJ, and eventually his final home in South Carolina.
Tony was a devoted Catholic and spent many years in prison ministry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Due to COVID restrictions, a memorial mass and burial in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, NJ, will take place at a later date. Cremation services were private and a celebration of life will take place in NJ when travel restrictions allow his children to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or Holy Ghost Fathers.
