In 1979, he met the love of his life, Monica Webb Powell one night at Mother Fletcher’s in Myrtle Beach. Billy and Monica have a dearly loved son, Joshua, who Billy loved to debate with on any subject. Billy had a very kind heart which he tried to hide. He loved talking and socializing with all his shag club friends no matter if they were building a float, selling tickets or just hanging out at a shag club party. Billy loved to shag with his wife. When Billy first started dancing, he only did the tall white man dance. Overtime, with lots of practice, Billy became a very good shagger. He always had a smile on his face while on the dance floor.
