Carol was born in 1940, in Kansas City, MO, the eldest daughter of the late Francis and Edna Andrews Dailey. She graduated from Holy Name School of Nursing in Teaneck, NJ, and pursued her calling to care for others as a registered nurse. In August 1962, Carol married Arthur M. Kinsman. Together, they shared 63 years of marriage and built a loving family. They raised five children in Florham Park, NJ, where Carol was deeply involved in the community. Carol considered her greatest joy to be her role as a wife and mother.
While raising her family, Carol pursued her career working as a registered nurse at Saint Anne's Villa. At the Villa, Carol was devoted to providing gentle, loving care for retired Sisters of Charity nuns. In January 1990, Carol and Arthur relocated from NJ to North Myrtle Beach, SC. Carol continued her nursing career working in the office of Dr. Steve Grubb. Following her retirement, Carol and Arthur enjoyed traveling around the country visiting with family and friends. They later relocated to Little River, SC where they have resided for the last twenty years.
In addition to her beloved husband, Arthur, Carol is survived by her sons, Art Kinsman (Robin) and Greg Kinsman (Julie); her daughters, Jennifer Throenle (Al), Pamela McFadden (Frank), and Sarah Nathans; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Dailey Slavin.
Carol was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Myrtle Beach, SC where a Memorial Mass will be held on March 6, 2026 at 1:30 pm.
