Cecelia A. Cole, 67, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born in Jacksonville, Florida Cecelia was a daughter of the late Dewey and Lillian Carroll Bartlett DuVall.
A loving wife of 40 years, Cecelia was married to George Cole. They enjoyed their lives together and shared many wonderful vacations together with their family. She also enjoyed shopping. Strong in her Christian faith, she was a true believer in Jesus. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Memories will be forever cherished.
Cecelia was a career driven woman excelling at every aspect of her jobs. She worked as a successful cosmetologist for 13 years in Wilmington, NC before going to real estate school and becoming a licensed Realtor in both North and South Carolina. Cecelia worked with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast in North Carolina before she and her husband, George moved to South Carolina where she joined Blue Green Resorts. She was extremely successful at Blue Green Resorts receiving “Top Sales Representative” for five years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, Stephen Murray, Westly Murray; a daughter; two brothers, David Carroll, James Carroll; two sisters, Cynthia Thigpen and Rosey Smith. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Christian Murray, Nevaeh Murray and Kayden Tozour as well as two special friends, John and Debbie Werner.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Sea Lawn Memorial Park. Lee Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
