Charles David Hubbard

Charles David Hubbard, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, known by all as Dave, passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1941 in Newport News, VA to John Seymour and Margaret Burcher Hubbard.

He married Nancy Ann Stanley in Clarendon, NC on June 22, 1963.

Dave leaves behind his wife of 61 years, twin daughters-Amy Kreider of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Sabrina (Daniel) Brant of Van Wert, OH; 6 grandchildren-Brian Kreider, Andrew Kreider, Kaitlyn (Brent) Harley, Tyler Brant, Lakin (Ben) Lew and Seth Brant; 2 great grandchildren-Tucker Harley and Brant Lew. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings-Seymour Rowland, Marlajo Sandridge and John Hubbard.

Dave worked the majority of his life for the United States Government in the Department of Defense as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In his spare time, he enjoyed using his mechanical mind to create and repair anything for anyone. He was a member of First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach where he served in various roles, worked on special projects and sang in the choir.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach with visitation being held an hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers or usual remembrances, the family suggests a donation to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach.
