

Although Claudia worked for many years as a Procurement Specialist, he passion was for the arts. She was an artist in every aspect of the word. Whether painting, metal working, making jewelry, beading, crocheting or making paper dolls, Claudia had a love of making beautiful artwork. A friend to all, Claudia was a cheerleader for those she loved. She was giving of herself, she was understanding and success in others was of most importance.
Surviving are her son, Douglas Dyar, Jr.; her life partner, Burley Ready; three grandchildren, Destiny Cooley, Freedon Dyar and Gabrielle Dyar. She is also survived by her brother, William Jerome Goss; sister, Becky McLane; nephew, Matthew Goss; niece, Tina Goss Knight; great-niece, Amber Knight Lancaster; several great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by a nephew, Todd Pagget.
The family requests memorials be made to any Art Education program to allow others to follow their dreams and passions of the arts.
