After graduating from high school Dennis entered the military and proudly served in the United States Navy. He was stationed in Newport, Rhode Island where he met the love of his life Diana Kelso and was married for 56 years. They made their home in Hudson, Wisconsin and for 33 years Dennis was employed at Anderson Window's in Bayport, Minnesota.
He was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan and loved cheering them on from the privacy of his living room where he could scream loudly over bad plays. He loved softball, fishing, bowling and golfing. For a time he was into running and even ran Grandmas Marathon. Dennis had a love for animals and took in any stray dog or cat that came to the door. He worked quietly behind the scenes for Saint Croix Animal Friends for 16 years and never understood how people could be so cruel to helpless innocent animals. As the years passed Dennis developed a strong dislike for the cold and snow and so he and his wife moved from Hudson, Wisconsin to Little River, South Carolina to spend time with their daughter, son in law and their children.
Surviving is his wife Diana (Kelso) Neubarth, his son Robert Dennis Neubarth (wife Tricia) grandchildren Robert Dennis Neubarth, Jr., Hunter Charles Neubarth, Presley Lynn Neubarth Axtell (husband Randy).and Derek Wilson. His daughter Cassie Renee Neubarth Rider (husband David) grandchildren., Easton Neubarth, Dayton Rider (fiancé Jonalynn Fuller) Nicholas Becker, McKenna Rider, Sage Rider, Diana Rider, and Carolina Rider.
