Dianne was born on February 25, 1937, in San Francisco, California, the only child of Rolland and Ethel Kaupert. Known affectionately as “Big Red” for her striking red hair, Dianne lived most of her life in Northern California, where she built a life defined by resilience, love, and devotion to her family.
As a single mother, Dianne raised three sons with remarkable strength, determination, and sacrifice. Her sons were the pride and joy of her life, and she worked tirelessly to ensure they never wanted for anything. As they grew older, they often reminisced about her strong work ethic and the many ways she provided for them, always putting their needs before her own. Through her example, she instilled in them values of independence, integrity, and perseverance that would guide them throughout their lives.
In her later years, Dianne made her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she spent her final years of retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Hallmark Jr. (Jules) of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Gary Hallmark (Sonya) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Troy Hallmark.
Dianne will be remembered for her quiet strength, her determination, and the enduring love she held for her family.
