Elizabeth C. MacLeod

Elizabeth Carrie (Schriefer) MacLeod, 86, formerly of Frederick Michigan, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in North Myrtle Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald B. MacLeod for sixty-nine years.

Elizabeth, better known as Betty by her family and friends, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, by her late parents Charles and Carrie Bougourd (Schriefer).

She is survived by her brother William (Doc), son Carl S. MacLeod, wife Suzie, two granddaughters, Beth (MacLeod) Martin, husband Ian, great grandson Joseph, Katy (MacLeod) Manafort, husband Nicholas, and two great grandsons Austin and Zachary, and several nieces and nephews Wilma, Linda, Judy, Bonnie, Billie, Richard, Victor and Vicki.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, husband, son Charles, three brothers Tommy, Charles, Joseph, sister Gertrude and her granddaughter Rachel L. MacLeod.

Betty’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means we’ll miss you until we meet again.
