

Faye Penley O’Donohue, 75, passed away peacefully in her home on September 26, 2017.
She was born in Gaston County, NC to the late Ernest and Wilhemina Penley on July 16, 1942.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy O’Donohue. She is survived by her three sons, Jamie, Scott , and Rusty O’Donahue; her sister, Linda Scovern and husband Jerry; her brother, Charlie Penley and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Kristen Ballard, Stacey Bailey, John O’Donahue, Megan Coley, Jessica Long, Rivers O’Donahue; great –grandchildren, Jase Bailey, Mallory Coley, Braelyn Long, Meleigha Coley, Banks Long; many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Faye retired from a career as a Loan Officer and spent most of her retirement enjoying time on the beach under her umbrella. She made sweet spaghetti for her grandchildren and prided herself on her self-picked collection of seashells. She made homemade pickles and hand sewn Christmas dresses for her granddaughters. She was lovingly referred to as Mamaw and ‘Lizbeth. She will be forever loved and always missed.
A service will not be held in accordance with her wishes.
