Frances H. Phillips, 85, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017.
Born on August 30, 1931 in Brunswick County, NC, she was the daughter of the late W.A. and Lessie McLamb Hardee.
Mrs. Phillips was a graduate of Shallotte High School and Farrels Beauty College in Columbia. She was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Clifton “Buck” Hardee; three sons, Joe W. Woodard, Jr., Bobby D. Woodard, Michael F. Woodard; stepdaughter, Chrystal Ward; brother, A.O. Hardee; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister, Cleople Permenter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 8 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
