On Monday June 10th, 2019 George Brandon Wagoner, forever known as our Buddy, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24.
Buddy was born on October 25, 1994 in Concord, NC to Keith and Melissa (Lowery) Wagoner. He moved to North Myrtle Beach with his family in 2000 to become a complete and full time “beach bum” kid.
Buddy had a passion for fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just in general hanging out at the river or the beach. Many a tale has been told of the numerous adventures and exploits he and his friends have had at these times. Buddy was known for his loving heart, his jokes and laughter, his quick wit, his sympathetic ear and his general know it all attitude. It’s true. All you had to do was ask him.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister Erica Wagoner and her other half Bobby Chavis, two nieces so loved by him, Alison Dawn and Paige Marie (his turk turk),his sweet and loving girlfriend Alaina Morgan, his grandparents Debbie (MMD) and Robert Weddings, his grandfather David Lowery and his Uncle Mike Lowery, several great aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and the endless number of friends he made in his short life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ira Wagoner and his grandmother Linda Lowery who we are sure greeted him with open arms and sat him beside her on her porch in heaven to await the rest of us.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Waterbrook Church with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to:
