Helen Bronson

Helen Bronson, 69, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 following a brief illness at Trident Medical Center, Charleston. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Muriel Turkington Jasak and the late Henry Jasak. Helen was the wife of the late Tadeusz “Ted” Wajda.

A graduate of East Hartford High School, Helen continued her education becoming a Licensed Cosmetologist. She was a member of the Twins club for over 40 years.

Following a long-term relationship, she and Ted Wajda were married on July 31, 2021 in Vernon, CT. The two had relocated over three years to Longs, SC from Vernon and Helen loved the spending time on the beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Muriel are her son, Paul Bronson; daughter, Christina Bronson; grandchildren, Desirae Bourne, Brianna Bourne, and Anthony Dallaire. Helen is also survived by step-daughters, Lisa Wajda, Teri Scaramella (Steve); and her cousins, Sharron Lafargue, Karen Uonika, and Steven Turkington
