

Jack Lee Hodges, 86, of Little River, SC, originally of Cross Lanes, WV, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed quietly, at home after a long illness, on October 23, 2017.
Jack was a true American patriot his entire life and served honorably in the United States Army First Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas as a Tank Gunnery Sargent Drill Instructor. He was a Member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Little River. Jack was also a life member of the American Legion of Nitro, WV. He owned and operated the FasChek Supermarket for 25+ years until he retired to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Jack is survived by his best friend and adored wife of 60 years, Janet Reynolds Hodges; son James Lee Hodges, daughter-in-law, Shelly Marsh Hodges; daughter Lisa Hodges Smith; granddaughter Eliza MacCorkle Perez and husband Robert William Perez II; granddaughter Mekell Lea Welcome; and great grandchildren, Alexandra Marie Kapp, Robert James Perez, Lexi Sienna Perez; sisters Mary Louise Hodges Hastings, Mrs. JoAnn Lane; as well as many loved cousins, family and friends.

A Celebration of Jack Hodges Life will be Saturday, the 28th of October at 1:00 in the afternoon at First Baptist Church of Little River located at 4261 Oak Street, Little River, SC 29566.
