John E. Topper Jr.

John Topper Jr, age 81, passed away peacefully January 11th, 2021. He was born October 4th, 1939, in Washington, DC, to John and Mary Rita Topper.

John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for three years. After serving our country, he then began an apprenticeship with the sheet metal workers local 102 in Washington DC. After graduating, John taught in the apprentice program for a total of ten years. John went on to become a project manager and continued until his retirement in 1997. He then became self-employed.

After full retirement, John moved his family to North Myrtle Beach, SC. John went on to enjoy going to the beach and having his grown children visit often with his grandchildren.

John is survived by his wife Colleen Wynn Topper; three sons, Mike, Brian, and John; three daughters, Ann, Erin, and Casey; nine grandchildren, Caitlin, Kelsey, Brooke, Brittany, Kendel, Patrick, Isabella, Victoria, and Alexandria; and six great grandchildren.
