Joseph R. Baeli

He was the husband of the late Luciana (Palazzi) Baeli.

Joseph was born on April 4, 1943 in Hackensack, NJ. Son of the late Salvatore and Mary (LaBarba) Baeli.

He was a graduate of Hackensack High School in 1961.

He served in the Air Force and Reserve from 1962 to 1963.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years as a mail handler in Hackensack, NJ.

He was a youth coach for football, baseball, and wrestling. He loved bowling on Tuesday nights in his younger days.

He will be remembered for his smile and his colorful basketball shoes. He was friendly and jovial to everyone he met and could strike up a conversation in a second.

He loved telling stories of his family from when they were younger and his times in Italy were he met his wife.

He was Sicilian and would not let anyone forget it. He loved his pasta and sauce and making his own meatballs.

He loved eagles, red roses and watching his Air Force Falcons play on Saturdays.

He is survived by two sons; Fabrizio Baeli and Andrew Baeli.

Two grandchildren; Braydon and Christiana.
