Judy received her bachelor degree from the University of Iowa. She was a self-employed motivational speaker and author of the book titled, "If the Dream is Big Enough, the Facts don't Count."
A devout Christian woman, Judy was a member of Bogue Banks Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family and reading her Bible.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carlynn and Ronald Ross; son, Troy Davey; grandchildren, Michael Thornton and Ryan Ross. She also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sean and Mia Thornton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Bogue Banks Baptist Church, 1417 W Fort Macon Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Crescent Hospice, 1516 US-501 Unit 101, Conway, SC 29526.
