Julia R. Dunn

Julia Rose Hawkins Dahlke Dunn, 95, passed away March 2, 2025 at Myrtle Beach Manor, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Born July 18, 1929 in Gowanda, New York, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marian (Parkinson) Hawkins.

Julia was a graduate of Amherst Central High School and Doyle School of Cosmetology. Most of her career was as a secretary/bookkeeper and Library Assistant. Julia has lived in New York State, Ohio, California and South Carolina. She was a member of The National Society Of The Daughters Of The American Revolution.

Julia was predeceased by her husbands, Robert William Dahlke in 1963 and George Edward Dunn in 1999; brothers, Wayne and Phillip Hawkins; sister, Patricia Taylor; step-daughter, Diana Lee Cazull.

Julia is survived by her step-son, Dennis Dahlke; step son-in-law, Antonio “Tony” Benito Cazull; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hawkins and Margaret Dunn; many step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Cemetery, Springville, NY.
