

Karen Almond Boles, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2025. Her life was a testament to helping others, a passion she pursued with unwavering dedication. Karen found immense joy in simple pleasures, such as watching dolphins dance in the waves at the beach, a place where she felt most at peace. Her love extended to all children and every dog that crossed her path, offering warmth and affection without hesitation. Known for her strong work ethic, Karen consistently put the needs of others before her own, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her generous spirit.
Preceded in death by her mother, Kathy; grandparents, Reece and Frances Almond; and her precious dog, Chloe.
Survivors include her father, Gilton Almond (Bennie); brothers, Michael and Chris (Jessica); nieces, Serria (Ryan) and Arabella; nephews, Cody and Reece; great-niece, Adalyn; and great-nephew, Axel.
A visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home, located at 11840 Highway 90, Little River, South Carolina, 29566, on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
