

Kenneth John Dyl, Ph.D, 75, died January 14, 2018 at his home.
The son of the late Lucy and Chester Dyl, he was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He was a graduate of the State University College at Buffalo where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree and Ph.D from the University of Buffalo at New York. An educator for 33 years, he served as Superintendent of the Cleveland Hill School District, as well as, a former administrator for Erie 1 BOCES. He enjoyed being a past member of the Buffalo Rotary and Executive Board Member of WNED.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Patricia Ann Frank Dyl; children, Kristin Matthews (Creg) of Roanoke, VA, Jeffrey Dyl (Hollis) of Syracuse, NY; proud grandfather to Jackson, Carson, Carter, Peyton and Nicolas; brother to Audrey Kaminski of Tonawanda, NY, Thomas Dyl (Kathy) of Hamburg, NY; sister-in-law, Janice LoBianco of Boynton Beach, FL; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, January 24 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel.
