She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Dodson who passed away in January of this year. She is survived by her step-daughters; Lizann Dodson (Nancy Brooks), Kathy Dodson; cousin, Jim Bearden (Kathy); nieces Diana Parker (Jerry), Linda Britt; along with her nephew, Mel Britt (Debra).
Lois and Ed lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for many years. Upon Ed’s retirement, the two moved to Calabash which was their home for 25 years.
