Margaret "Peggy" Anne Bambino

Margaret “Peggy” Anne Bambino, 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Born on September 3, 1956, in Mount Clemons, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Carol Geesey Rathbone. She was the loving and devoted wife of Dennis Bambino.

An avid reader, Peggy was very intellectual and was always ready for a good debate. She loved to socialize with her friends at the local hangouts and always enjoyed her “Captain and Ginger Ale’s”. The beach was her sanctuary where Peggy found solace and peace while walking along the shore. The love of her husband and family as well as her love in return were most important in her life.

In addition to her husband, Dennis, she is survived by her daughters, Natalie Belleau (husband, Jesse Belleau), Krystin Dodge (husband, Ben Dodge), daughter, Brittany Birchard; son, Matt Birchard; and nine grandchildren. Her brother Brett Rathbone (wife, Joanne) and sister, Cheryl Light (husband, Steve Light) also survive Peggy. Preceding her in death is her brother, Raymond Rathbone.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566.
