Michael Keith Lewis

Michael Keith Lewis, 21, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center as a result of an auto accident.

Born on May 16, 1995 in Frederick MD, he was the son of Maria E. Lewis and the late Keith William Lewis.

Other than his mother of Longs, SC, Michael is survived by three sisters, Lisa Helmick (Michael), Emily Lewis, Kathleen Lewis; paternal grandmother, Betty Brownley (Robert), paternal step-grandmother, Sue Lewis; maternal grandmother, Ellen Smythe; 2 nieces and 1 nephew, Lillian, Landyn and Layla Helmick; and fiance´ Amy Hobson of Goldsboro, NC. He is predeceased by his father, Keith William Lewis, his paternal grandfather, Donald Lewis and maternal grandfather, John Smythe.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 29 at North Strand Community Church, 2582 Mt. Zion Road, Little River, SC 29566, immediately followed by a memorial service.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to Teen Angels at North Myrtle Beach High School, in his memory.
