

With love, gratitude, and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Nancy Carolyn Fellenz, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 83 with her husband and children surrounding her in love.
Nancy was born on October 27, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Rose (Jasurda) Zepaltas, Nancy lived a life defined by kindness, laughter, faith, and service. Whether through family life, friendships, career, or volunteerism she touched countless lives and created lasting memories for all who knew her..
Nancy had many roles that she cherished - wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister. Professionally, Nancy spent her career as a surgical nurse and post-retirement worked in the real estate business. Nancy experienced great joy socializing with friends, tailgating at Badger and Packer games, traveling, and attending family reunions. Friends and family will always remember her warm smile, sense of humor, helping spirit, and wisdom.
Above all, Nancy treasured time spent with her family.. She is survived by husband, Richard Yaun, her children Steve Fellenz (Laurie), Tim Fellenz (Kim Green), and Heidi Chupp (Brad); stepson Garrett Yaun (Freda); grandchildren Brendan Fellenz, Tanner Fellenz (Hannah Graham), Ian Fellenz (Janelle), Katherine Funk (Morgan), and Lily Fellenz; great grandchildren Tali and Asher Fellenz; siblings James Zepaltas (Nancy Nason), Donna Hatleli (Chip), Debbie Deering (Dave), Diane Zepaltas, Kathryn Zepaltas (Paul Bielen), Helen Zepaltas and the Fellenz crew - Michael, Terrence (LorRae), Donald (Sandy), Patrick (Judy), Mark (Brenda), and Kathy Hargraves (Jerry). Nancy was a beloved cousin and a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews who she loved deeply.
Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Fellenz, her parents, siblings John Zepaltas, Mary Ann Becker, and Tom Zepaltas; brothers-in-law Norman Fellenz, Allen Fellenz Jr, and Paul Becker.
The family wishes to thank Nancy’s friends and neighbors who shared food and prayers with the family and her medical care team, McLeod Health Hospice Care and Nurse Lauren for their care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 10:30am at Lee Funeral Home,11840 South Carolina 90, Little River, South Carolina. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor a life so beautifully lived. An additional Celebration will be held in Wisconsin later this year.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Though deeply missed, Nancy’s love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
