Nancy Jean Floyd, age 67, of Longs, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1958, in Long Island, New York, the beloved daughter of Bill Rudden and Patricia McLockin.
Nancy was a radiant soul who cherished the beach, sunshine, and the simple joys of life. Nancy worked as a pharmacy technician and was deeply devoted to the care of her customers. She found peace watching hummingbirds and had a remarkable gift for nurturing beautiful houseplants. Fiercely devoted to her family, Nancy loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Her spirit came alive through music, she never missed a chance to dance or jam out, always wearing a smile and, if she had her way, a fabulous pair of heels.
Her warmth, laughter, and light touched everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Keith Floyd; daughters Whitley Floyd (Will), Janelle Fellenz (Ian), and Courtney Mims (Jesse); grandchildren Mika, Tali, Asher, Alden, Henley, Oliver, and Ada Jo; and her special friends Kristy Marsh and Krystal Farren.
A memorial service will be held in Nancy’s honor on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 706 14th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society, 409 Bay St., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, or online at humanesocietynmb.org/give
