

Pamela Jean Koziarski, 76, of Little River, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. Born on April 18, 1949, in La Jolla, California, Pamela lived a life defined by compassion, courage, and dedication to others.
Pamela was the youngest of three siblings, born to the late Arvine Charles Van Horn and Phylis Smith Van Horn Lightsey, and stepdaughter of Earl Lightsey.
She is survived by her sisters, Phylis (Tucky) Hostettler and Lynne Van Horn; her three children, Shelley Tucker, Doug Koziarski, and Caleb Koziarski; and Edward Dominguez, life partner of her late daughter, Esther Koziarski. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Peyton Tucker, Parker Tucker, and Pressley Tucker; and her two great-grandchildren, Levi Price and Leia Tucker.
She was also a beloved stepmother to Lisa Szymecki and Mike Mickel, and cherished Maria Modzelewski, as well as her many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pamela was a fun-loving aunt to Susan Spencer, Michael Spencer, Kelly Smith, and Maureen Spencer DeArmitt.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stanley Koziarski; daughter, Esther A. Koziarski; stepdaughters, Penny Laskowski and Linda Perry; and niece, Margo Spencer.
A lifelong caregiver, Pamela dedicated much of her life to serving others. She volunteered as an EMT-I and was a proud lifetime member and treasurer of the North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad. Through her service, she saved countless lives and inspired all who worked beside her.
Those who knew Pamela will remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to helping others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she so lovingly served.
A memorial service will be held at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m.
