Peggy Raphael

Margaret Mary “Peggy” Raphael, 82, died June 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 5, 1936 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget Jordan Rowley.

She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 62 years, William J. “Bill” Raphael; two sons, William G. Raphael (Julie), James J. Raphael; two daughters, Diane M. Jacobs (Richard), Peggy Ann Lam (Danny); nine grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by four brothers, Thomas, John, James and Michael; three sisters, Theresa, Madeline, and Anna Mae; and daughter-in-law, Donna Raphael.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Sunday, June 3 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 on Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
