Born on September 15, 1964, in Yonkers NY, Bob was a son of Sharon (Morgan) Sugrue and the late Albert “Bud” Sugrue. He was a 1982 graduate of Brewster High School in Brewster NY.
A longtime Carpenter and Tradesman with Local 254 in New Jersey, Bob’s talents and skills were amazing. He loved coaching Little League and baseball tournaments with his friend of many years, Vito LaSala, in Middlesex NJ.
Bob had a passion for cars, especially his vintage corvette. He enjoyed all types of music and had the largest collection that most envied. In fact he made sure there were speakers in every room of the house.
A die-hard fan of his hometown teams, Bob rooted for his NY Mets, Jets and NY Islanders to the bitter end!
Known for his dry sense of humor, he made friends easily and everyone knew that the more he picked on you the more he cared. Bob was always there to help friends and family. He spent countless hours with his grandsons who gave him so much joy.
Surviving is his loving and devoted wife Anna; his step-son Anthony Pace; his daughter-in-law Nikki; and his two grandsons, Gio and Jay. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his brothers, Jim (wife, Jeri) and John, along with an extended list of family members also survive him. John’s fur baby (Bob’s fur nephew), Griffey, preceded him in death.
