Ruby Jean Broome

Ruby “Jean” Broome went home to be with her Lord on Friday morning, January 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was retired from the hotel hospitality industry and was also an Auctioneer Colonel. Prior to her illness, she attended the First Freewill Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Beam, her infant son, Kenneth, her brother Fred, and her sister Diane.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jimmie Broome, her beloved dog, Willie, 4 children Tony Broome (Peggy), Pam Dyar (Joseph), Donna Adams (Allen), Jamie Broome (Julie), 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

A private ceremony was held in the family home and the spreading of her ashes will occur at a later date.

The family would love to thank Incare Hospice and Lee Funeral Home for taking such good care of their mother.
