Salvatore Giarrusso

He was the husband of Regina (Benfante) Giarrusso. They were married for 34 years.

Salvatore was born on November 21, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. Son of the late Sebastiano and Josephine (Accardo) Giarrusso.

He helped establish & worked for Merchants Capital Access in Melville NY. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of VFW Post 7288 of Calabash, Elks Lodge 2679 and American Legion Post 503.

In addition to his wife, Salvatore is also survived by a son, Salvatore P. Giarrusso. A daughter, Lisa Josephine Giarrusso.

Stepson, David Ferguson, and a stepdaughter, Tomiko F. Snook. Five grandchildren.

A brother, Saverio Giarrusso and a sister, Vivian Hollinger.

A memorial service for Salvatore will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90, Little River, SC 29566 with military honors.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to SECU Hospice House of Brunswick- Lower Cape Fear Life Care, 955 Mercy Lane SE, Bolivia NC 28422.
