It's been awhile since I had seen Grace & John. They both were a huge part of my life when I was with their son then we married. Grace was a very distinguished woman. She carried herself very professional when needed and was extremely loving to her family and friends. She was a mother in law so very easy to talk to and laugh with. She got so excited over the smallest of things because she never took anything for granted. The generosity and love that poured out of her was just amazing. How she cared for family was exceptional. Her grandchildren were her life. The little meaningful things she did for everyone always left me speechless. I have always wished I had more time being part of the Swal family. I will never forget her and how she always made me feel so comfortable when I was in their home. 
I know this is late in regards to sharing memories, but it's really never to late to let someone know you're thinking of them.

May you be having the time of your life up in the heavens with John and Sue, Cathy... until we meet again.

I was in nursing school with Grace.  She was a wonderful friend and a great classmate.  When something needed to be done Grace would make it happen.  She was small but mighty.  I am so glad I had the chance to see her during one of my recent trips back east.  Her faith was very deep and it shone in all she did. God bless you, Grace.

Grace and I were roommates at Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing at Perth Amboy General Hospital. Phew,  that's a mouthful! We called it PAGU for Perth Amboy General University and we were sure we were the greatest nursing students ever. Well, we did have a ball and studied until our eyes closed. Grace was my bridesmaid and I have so many memories of our time together. I could write much more about my friend Grace and will if anyone wants to hear about our shared time. Grace, you were a great nurse and a true friend. I will miss you Kay Flynn Connolly, RN

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Grace at LRMC. She was a great nurse who cared for all of her patients. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family. May you find the peace that only God can give.
