Stephen J. Mihalenko

Stephen John Mihalenko, age 41, of Little River, SC was called to Heaven on October 15, 2016 in Charlotte, NC. Stephen was born on May 9, 1975 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Stephen will leave the memory of his big smile and kind heart with his parents, John and Gloria, his sister, Laura, his brother-in-law, George and his young nephew, Noah.

His love and devotion will be in the hearts of his wife, Kimberly, and step daughters, Christian and Payton.

His fun-loving spirit and adventurous nature will always be with his numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

His playful nature will remain with his beloved dog, Bella.

Stephen was a well-respected team member of the Tabor City Correctional Facility for over five years.

Stephen loved playing pool, spending hours on the beach with family and friends and cheering for the UNC TarHeels.

Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of Seacoast Medical Center, Coastal Cancer Center and Carolinas Medical Center for the wonderful treatment and compassion they showed to Stephen while he was in their care.

Visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Little River, SC on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 1:00-3:00pm.
