Susan Cebollero

Susan Cebollero, 77, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 with her family by her side. Born on November 11, 1946 in Passaic, New Jersey, Susan was a daughter of the late John and Genevieve Danowski Madiovsky.

On June 28, 1970, Susan married George Cebollero. Susan retired in 2004 from Fairlawn High School in Fairlawn, New Jersey, where she was a dedicated math teacher. For many years prior to their relocation, Susan and George visited and owned a second home in North Myrtle Beach. They shared the love of golfing and the beach, and following her retirement, she insisted they make North Myrtle Beach their “forever” home. It was here that she made new friends playing golf and found enjoyment in playing BUNCO and spending time with neighbors and friends. She and George enjoyed traveling and cruised all over the world including Rome, Greece and Alaska as well as the warm islands of the Caribbean. Susan loved her family and time spent with her children and grandchildren. Memories made will now be treasured forever.

Susan is survived by her husband George; son, Greg Cebollero (wife, Katie); daughter, Lisa Cebollero; grandchildren, Abigail, Dylan and Gavin Cebollero. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Grova.

The family will receive from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November, 16, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Association.
