Thomas A Girard

Thomas “Tommy” Austin Girard, 78, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Born in Horicon, New York, he was the only child of the late Raymond and Virginia Ruth Trudeau Girard. He was the husband of Charlene C. Girard.

A proud veteran of the armed services, Tommy served in the United States Navy. He was a sound engineer in Las Vegas having retired at Bally’s Casino following numerous years of dedicated service. His job afforded him many unique opportunities to work with various singers to include Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers as well as Elvis Presley.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Charlene is his “adopted in love” son, John Kalata; grandson, Justin Case Kalata; stepdaughter, Jennifer Jeffrey and stepson, Keith (Belinda) Jeffrey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Kind Keeper, 1500 LD Dr. N. Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. beginning at the BRIDGEWATER Veterans Park area, followed by food and beverages in the Amenity Center.
