Todd Steven Kresken

Todd Steven Kresken, 57, died October 9, 2019 at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center after a short illness.

Born on January 25, 1962 in Danville, VA, he was the oldest son of the late Reverend Dr. Albert Steven and Barbara Whitehead Kresken. He was a graduate of Pilgrim Lutheran Church School in Baltimore, MD; Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA; Myrtle Beach High School in Myrtle Beach, SC; and Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway, SC. During his life, he worked throughout the Myrtle Beach community as a licensed electrician and mechanic. Mr. Kresken found his peace in the outdoors where he enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. His other passions were cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Kresken is survived by his daughter, Mrs. April Leigh Folger (David) of Columbia, SC; brother, Mr. Jonathan Paul Kresken (Catherine) of Charleston, SC; sister, Mrs. Michele Kresken Klawitter (Kyal) of Minneapolis, MN; and three grandchildren, Hazel Quinn, Preston Michael, and Paige Madelyn Folger. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Ms. Angela Bird of Little River, SC.

A memorial celebration of Mr. Kresken’s life will be held at a later date.
