Valli June Farmer, age 73, of Little River, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Born on May 15, 1951 in Kingwood, WV, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Lulu Belle Conley Shillingburg.
A loving and dedicated wife, Valli married Richard "Dickie" Farmer in Charles Towne, WVA and shared 50 years of marriage. The two were proud parents of four children. Although she only worked in the school for five years, her time spent cooking for the children was a great accomplishment and a job she was most proud of.
Valli and Dickie recently relocated to Little River for warmer weather and to be near her daughter. Valli was a talented gardener who enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants. She loved riding and taking care of horses as well as her cats. Most importantly, Valli was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and time spent with her family making memories was her favorite pastime. She will be greatly missed.
Valli is survived by her husband, Dickie; son, Tony McDonald (Lisa), daughters, Becky Wolfe (Heath), Lisa Reynolds (Robert); ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Valli was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Collyer.
