

Vicki J. Stahl, age 70, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Born on October 31, 1952 in Ballston Spa, New York she was a daughter of the late Donald and Gertrude Reed.
Vicki grew up in Round Lake, New York. She was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park. After marrying her husband Alfred, the couple relocated to South Carolina to enjoy life on the coast. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Myrtle Beach, Vicki enjoyed volunteering at church and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was also very involved with the auxiliary at the VFW Post 10804. Vicki loved traveling, going on cruises and cooking. A phenomenal cook, she was referred to as the “kitchen maven” by her friends and family. Another passion both Al and Vicki shared was being a part of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. There is no place Vicki would rather be than on the back of a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. The couple also enjoyed teaching other motorcyclist about motorcycle education and safety.
Vicki worked for Bellevue Hospital in Niskayuna, NY as a phlebotomist for many years. After retirement, she worked as a Hospice home health aide.
She is survived by her husband of nine years, Alfred “Al” Stahl; son, Jeff Simard (Joanna); siblings, Richard Reed (Patricia), Marti Reed; her grandchildren whom she loved dearly and always referred to as her "Sun Moon and Stars" Emily, Allison and Jake Simard; step-children, Dr. Marie Sabatini (Matthew), Mary Kelly (Brian); step-grandchildren, Zachary, Ella Sabatini, Colin, John, Maeve Kelly; her canine companions, Annie B. and Ella Belle along with numerous nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Donna Martin and Timothy Reed.
A memorial service will be held at nine o’clock in the morning on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory. Immediately following the service, the Stahl family will be receiving friends for a luncheon at the VFW Post 10804, 111 State Hwy 57 N, Little River, SC 29566. Interment will be held at a later date at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, New York.
