

Wesley Brooks Harrington, age 60, of Little River, South Carolina, passed away peacefully to join his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Born on October 12, 1964, in Davidson County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late John Wesley Brooks Harrington and Rachel Blair Harrington.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Beth Harrington; sister, Donna H. Kearns (Tommy); children, Wesley Dean Harrington (Stephanie), Courtney Harrington Higgs (Will), stepchildren, Jeremy D. Benson (Christina), Zachary G. Benson (Ashleigh), Melissa Benson Grissom (Mark); grandchildren, Greyson, Victoria, Naliyah, Evan, Isabella; step-grandchildren, Blyth, Aubrey, Chris, Cheyenne, Cameron, Carly, Dalton, Sawyer, Saige. He was preceded in death by his parents, along with his sister, Vicki H. Walton.
A graduate of Thomasville High School class of 1982, Wes went on to further his education in BLET at Davidson Community College in 1986. Wes had a successful career in law enforcement to which he dedicated 33 years of service. After retiring from Casswell County Sheriff’s Office, Wes relocated to enjoy life on the Carolina Coast and became a security guard at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.
Wes was a cherished spirit, well known for his kind, caring, and humorous personality. Wes lived a life that was filled with tremendous passion and service to others. A motorcycle fanatic, Wes cherished each moment he got to
spend on his Indian motorcycle. He was also a member of the Chosen Guardian Angels Law Enforcement Motorcycle Group.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery in High Point, North Carolina.
