Alan J. Harrison, Sr., 61, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Morristown, NJ. Born and raised in Livingston, NJ, Alan resided for most of his life in Lake Hopatcong. He was a loyal family man with a profound love for his children and grandchildren. Al most recently worked as a heavy equipment operator, but worked various jobs and did so with great pride and an unmatched work ethic.
Alan was predeceased by his parents, Herbert A. and Ethel A. Harrison. He is survived by his children Samantha Fagersten and her husband Mark and Alan J. Harrison, Jr, and his wife Jessica, his 6 grandchildren Colin, McKayla, and Samantha Harrison, and Mark, Emily, and Jacob Fagersten. He also leaves behind his sisters Jacqueline Callea and Ruth Paris, as well as his longtime girlfriend Cynthia Norman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Cremation will be private.
