

Lifelong resident of Livingston, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard and Frances Parker.
Parker, a dispatcher for the Livingston Police Department, dedicated his life to service.
He served the city of Livingston for 43 years as a Volunteer Firefighter, moving through the ranks to Deputy Chief and worked with the Exempt Fireman’s Association.
Also a Mason of Livingston Lodge #11 for 28 years, Parker served as Master in 1998 and Right Worshipful Grand Pursuivant in 2007. He also sat on the Board of Directors and held a number of other positions within the Lodge.
Parker was an animal lover and treasured spending time with his beloved cocker spaniels, Katie and Charlie. He also enjoyed spending time with his son and family.
He is survived by his son, Craig Parker, Jr of Kansas City, MO; siblings Carol Selitto (Michael) of Whippany, NJ, Howard Parker, Jr. of Parsippany, NJ and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister Nancy Sivartsen and nephew James Sivartsen.
Services will be held at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039 on Friday, March, 1 from 3-8pm and Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 10:30am.
Entombment will follow Saturday at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07932.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made either to the Masonic Charity Foundation, Livingston Fire Department, or an animal shelter of your choice.
