Edward was born in Jersey City, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Union, NJ. He worked for many years as an assembler for General Motors and upon his retirement 17 years ago he moved to Cochecton, NY. Edward was also a volunteer firefighter in Lava, NY, was a member of the Neversink Rondout Antique Machinery Association and loved restoring antique tractors.
Edward is predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary. He is survived by his sons David (Kristine) and Edward (Kathy), and grandchildren James, Nicholas, Anna Rose, Matthew and Melissa.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3 from 2-6pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ and on Saturday June 4, at the funeral home, beginning at 10 am and concluding with a prayer service at 11am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
