Frank Salvatore Raffa

Frank Salvatore Raffa, 85, passed away at his residence in Livingston on Friday, June 19, 2015. His family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Monday, June 22, 4-8 PM. The Mass of Ressurection will be celebrated at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., on Tuesday at 10 AM followed by the entombment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Frank was born in Newark and had lived in Vailsburg moving to Livingston thirty-five years ago. He was a transit bus maintenance worker for many years.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Angela R. (nee: Ochigrosso), his siblings Anna Martinis, Joseph and Paul Raffa, he is survived by his devoted daughters, Rosanne Brodsky and her husband Larry, Angela Balestrieri and her husband Frank and Sandra Doblovosky and her husband Eddie; she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Stefanie and Joseph Brodsky, Michael and Nicholas Doblovosky and Angelina Balestrieri.
