John was predeceased by his brother William Clayton Farris and his sister Joanne McAdam. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Janet, his children Diane (Ralph), John Jr. (Maria), and Amy (Dan), grandchildren Charlotte, Carla, Sara, and Peter, as well as 6 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2 from 5-8:30 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, May 3 at 11AM at St. Raphael’s Church, Livingston at 11AM with interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
