

She was a long time resident of Livingston, NJ. Lolita was born on February 15, 1938 in Cabanatuan, Philippines, to parents, Lucio and Maria del Rosario. She graduated from University of Santo Thomas with a Bachelors in Architecture. Lolita and her family immigrated to the United States in 1973. Lolita went on to establish a career as a Senior Architect at Foster Wheeler and then later Formosa Inc. until she retired.
Lolita was a devoted wife, beloved mother, and very proud grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and above all things, loved her family. She was a game show enthusiast, enjoyed family gatherings, and grew to love sports through her sons.
Lolita is survived by her husband of 57 years, Romeo Silen; Two sons: Ronald Silen (wife, Crista Silen) and Robert Silen (wife, Linh Silen); Grandchildren: Caroline, Roman, Leilani, Emily, Lindsay, Jasmyn, Skylar, and Sidney; Great grandson, Paxton; Sister, Luz Bitong; Nieces: Margie, Marivic, Marichris, and Maricel.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00AM at Saint Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Philomena’s Church in honor of Lolita.
